Intarsia brings freedom to colorwork, letting you splash bold panels of color and shape wherever you please. With as many mini-skeins as you have ideas, and a little planning, you’ll be filling your knitting world with color!

In this class, we'll go in depth laying out a systematic approach to creating bobbins, reading charts, and planning out your intarsia project while learning other handy tips and tricks along the way! While this class is mainly about intarsia, you’ll also learn duplicate stitch and a small amount of stranded knitting so that you’ll be able to dive into your intarsia project armed with a variety of techniques and the knowledge of when to apply them.

Mieka John, the designer and teacher behind Salt & Stone Knits, loves breaking down knitting concepts and techniques from many angles to help different kinds of learners understand the topic and wield it in their projects and designs. From the moment you enter the classroom, Mieka works to make sure your time together is safe, comfortable, valuable and fun! Students leave feeling not only accomplished and armed with new skills but that they’ve had a great time with other crafters! Mieka has taught 40+ virtual classes and has traveled to yarn festivals such as Vogue Knitting LIVE! (NYC) to teach in person as well as created a recorded masterclass as a Knit Stars Season 7 instructor.

Repeat Row 1 once more.
